Setting the standard for a positive season.
Play Fair: I will play by the rules and use good sportsmanship. No "trash talking" or intentional rough play.
Respect the Ref: I will not argue with the officials. Even if I disagree with a call, I will keep playing.
Be a Teammate: I will encourage my teammates and never blame others for a loss or a mistake.
Win/Loss Grace: I will shake hands with the opposing team after every game, regardless of the score.
The "24-Hour Rule": If I am upset about playing time or a coach's decision, I agree to wait 24 hours before contacting the coach to discuss it calmly.
Let the Coaches Coach: I will refrain from shouting instructions from the sidelines. It confuses the kids when they hear conflicting directions.
Let the Refs Ref: I understand that many officials are volunteers or youth themselves. I will not yell at, mock, or harass the officiating crew.
Positive Cheering Only: I will keep my comments positive and directed at encouraging all players on the field.
Sideline Location: I will remain on the designated spectator side of the field and never enter the field of play or the bench area.
Smoking: I will refrain from smoking tobacco products or vaping on the field during practice and games.
I understand that failure to follow this Code of Conduct may result in a warning, temporary removal from the sidelines, or, in extreme cases, the player’s removal from the program without a refund.
